    And he’s been spinning it out for more than a week…I open the paper every day and my eyes go right to it, like a train wreck.

    I completely agree and find these comics to be in poor taste. It’s very similar to ABC’s television show just for laughs, attempting to get laughs at the expense of individuals with disabilities. I talked about this last week at my blog http://pittrehab.blogspot.com/2007/08/just-for-laughs-on-abc.html and also include a link to e-mail ABC saying how distasteful the program was regarding individuals with disabilities. Cartoons in programs like this perpetuate stereotypes and myths that individuals with disabilities are helpless, fools and unable to provide for themselves. Have a great week and thanks for bringing my attention to this cartoon.
